Jimmy Qiu is an imaginer working at the intersection of film, color, and technology. He's drawn to the texture and feeling of analog photography — the grain, the light, the way a frame breathes — and spends his time finding ways to bring those qualities into modern digital workflows.

His work spans commercial color, narrative features, and personal projects building tools that make images look and feel the way they're meant to. Whether grading a frame or writing code, the goal is the same: make it feel right.

Recent personal projects include AGX Emulsion, an OpenFX film simulation plugin, and HDR Stills, a native iOS app for color critical media review.
